Amber Construction Services are proud to be partnering with the London Borough of Redbridge to deliver essential RAAC remedial works and a complete roof replacement at South Woodford Library.

The project comprises extensive surveys and investigations, the installation of temporary works, the removal of existing RAAC roof planks and warm roof build-up and the installation of a new roof deck and roofing system. The works also include new northlights, together with the careful removal and reinstatement of mechanical and electrical equipment.

Health & Safety

Delivered across two phases, the project includes both internal and external works. Working with our specialist scaffolding partner, we installed a bespoke designed scaffold and internal crash deck to ensure the safe delivery of works on the existing roof structure.

As the project progresses, our focus remains on delivering the works safely and to the highest standard, helping to secure the future of the library and gym, which sit at the heart of the local community.
