Hassan founded Amber Construction Services Ltd in 2001 as a roofing contractor and has overseen the growth of the business. He continues to drive the business forward, supporting our senior team with a commitment to service excellence.

Bill Watts

Managing Director

Having worked for Amber for over ten years, Bill was made Managing Director in 2024. Bill has a wealth of experience and knowledge managing large scale refurbishment projects across London and the South East.

Hassan and Bill’s values are aligned in building on Amber’s successes as a people focussed contractor of choice.  Bill will utilise his experience within the business to further enhance our growth and rounded delivery offering.

Helen John

HR Director

Since 2003, Helen has helped grow the business with Hassan, shaping and managing all levels of HR and finance responsibilities.

In 2021, Helen was promoted to Human Resources Director overseeing our growing team, supporting wellbeing and training.

Toby Blunsten-Fox

Senior Business Development Manager

Joining Amber in March 2024, Toby focuses on developing and maintaining client partnerships, ensuring we listen to our clients challenges and evolve with the changing requirements of the sector. Building the forward thinking pipeline of opportunity for the business and navigating the market place to ensure Amber are in consideration for the right projects now and for the future.

Aydin Gunay

Head of Roofing (Commercials)

Aydin has followed in his father’s footsteps demonstrating entrepreneurial skills in shaping our roofing division, with a clear focus on customer care, service delivery and innovative solutions.

Alongside Tom Brennan, Aydin manages our in-house roofing teams of approved installers and works alongside our accredited supply chain partners/manufacturers.

Tom Brennan

Head of Roofing (Operations)

Working in the industry since 2005 and delivering successfully for a Tier 1 contractor, Tom now brings his expertise to our roofing team to drive forward better ways of working and raising our standards.

Tom works closely with Aydin to ensure all our projects in the roofing team are delivered to the highest quality.

Charlotte Dickinson

Head of Commercials

Charlotte brings a wealth of experience and strategic insight to her role as Head of Commercial, having previously worked for a Teir 1 Main Contractor, as well as several subcontractors.

Her leadership style combines analytical precision with a people-first approach. With a strong background in commercial management and a keen eye for detail, she oversees the financial and contractual aspects of all Amber projects.

Andrew O’Grady

Operations Manager

Andrew has extensive experience delivering refurbishment and new build projects across all sectors of the construction industry. Since joining Amber in August 2024, he has focused on helping clients deliver projects on time and within budget. His core strengths include managing HRB works through the Gateway process, collaborating with stakeholders and ensuring successful outcomes through effective planning and detailed preparation.

Carl Winkworth

Financial Controller

Carl brings years of experience across construction & engineering to his role as Financial Controller. His Industry knowledge enables him to provide clear financial oversight and strategic direction across all areas of the business.

With his approach and understanding of operational and commercial dynamics, Carl ensures financial performance and compliance across the business. His leadership style balances analytical precision with collaboration, supporting the team in achieving both financial efficiency and sustainable growth.
