Hassan Gunay founded the business.

Secured first contract as a main contractor for NHBC

New Director

Helen John joined Amber as Finance Director, taking on responsibility for Financial controls and HR

2004

First framework

Amber secures its first framework lot with the LHC

2005

First £1m+

Secured first large roofing package of works with Tower Hamlets at £1.5m

2006

Major works

Secured a £3m+ major works scheme with CityWest Homes

2008

First offices

Amber move into and renovate its very own offices in Barking

2015

Head of Estimating

Amber appoint Adrian Atkinson and his many years experience to head up estimating

Kitchens & Bathrooms

Amber secure first large kitchen and bathroom replacement programme with the London Borough of Havering circa £2.5m

2016

Construction Director

Bill Watts joins Amber with many years experience to improve the service delivery of the business

First Partnering Contract

Amber secure a Term Alliance Contract for 10 years with Southern Housing Group

Multiple framework positions

Multiple lots secured for Amber Construction with the LHC including flat, pitched roofing, kitchens and bathrooms and energy efficiency

Gary Case joins Amber to help grow its pipeline of opportunities

Cladding removal

Denning Point was Amber Constructions first large cladding removal project delivered for Eastend Homes

Framework wins

Positions secured for the London Construction Programme for projects ranging between £5m-£10m
