Havering is located on the northeast boundary of Greater London. It is the third largest London borough, covering some 43 square miles and housing over 105,000 residential properties.
To the north and east the Borough is bordered by the Essex countryside, to the south by a three mile River Thames frontage, and to the west by the neighbouring boroughs of Redbridge and Barking & Dagenham.
Amber Construction were appointed in the role of Principal Contractor under CDM 2015 to carry out the remodelling of 17 flats into 11 fully wheelchair accessible flats with the installation of a new lift tower and the remodelling of the external carpark including ramps to the rear elevations.
The remaining blocks on the complex were occupied throughout the duration of the project and we worked with residents and carers to keep them informed and to minimise any disruptions.
